Our Team

Karen McArthur is an executive with over 25 years of management, sales, technical and financial experience in the software and health care sectors. She has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) focused in Psychology, from Carleton University. As a serial entrepreneur she has a demonstrated history of success in the information technology, B2B and B2C marketing and services industry. Since 2006, Karen has been President and CEO and co-owner of The Portia Learning Centre and of Portia International since 2012. Karen’s passion solving real world problems for ABA clinics and turning technical genius into a continuously profitable stream of customer satisfaction.

Charlene is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (since 2012) and Chief Clinical Officer at The Portia Learning Centre (since 2006). She received her Masters in Applied Disability Studies from Brock University. Charlene's passion for her clients and a true understanding of what a ABA clinic requires for success both clinically and in operations shows in all of her work.
